The USSD Gateway project which has been deployed for MCI (Mobile Company of Iran) the conversion between N7 and IP signalling and interconnecting different vendor equipments (Cisco, Siemens, Nokia, Ericson and Huawei) for making the USSD service operation is one of the unique practical experience in this field. This company has cooperation with both Tieto (Sweden Company) and Tata Communication (Indian Company) for providing signaling services solutions and services. The certificates and approvals are attached in the appendixes.

The scheme diagram is shown below. First an interaction based on SS7 is made for connecting the mobile network. Using this connection, information can be sent to and received from mobile network STP (Signaling Transfer Point). In this system Sigtran links are used for interconnection, since in new networks and STPs Sigtran links, which are a kind of SS7 transmission in IP networks, are used for easier and cheaper transmission. This makes the system more compatible to the new networks. However, a lot of mobile networks are not use IP based yet.
